Dear John My Loyal and Faithful SON:

If my bloodline paternal grandfathers Henry Rodgers and His father, Grady Mack Rodgers had any wishes and/or visions for you and I, as their descendants. It would be that we are not Gnostic Christians like themselves or Patristic Christian like my father or Muslim or Jew, etc. It would be that you and I were independent critical thinkers. That we would be searchers of truth (accurate scientific information), that we would not allow our feelings (emotions) to overpower our common sense and good judgment. And that we would have enough wisdom and educational intellect to recognize scientific fact or scientific reality when it was made available to us. This is the religious, ethical and moral heritage of the Rodgers family bloodline. Even though these two men are perceived as hedonist and men of low religious, ethics and morals, who enjoyed alcohol, gambling, sex, etc. to excesses they themselves found peace and tranquility within their inner selves. Because they realized that the perception of their low religious, ethical and moral values was only a perception of men with lower religious, ethical and moral standards than their own.
