We may never recover the true origins or history of Gnostic Judaism or Gnostic Christianity. Because the original history and scriptures were burned and destroyed, by, the Roman Emperor Constantine at the first council at Nicea. Followed by a 1500-year Roman religious campaign in which anyone in possession of, Gnostic Judaic or Gnostic Christian scriptures or writing would face certain death. This 1500 year escapade not only destroyed the history of Gnostic Judaism or Christianity. But also destroyed the history of the Zadokite Line of Priest and the Sadducee religious party. The forerunners of the Gnostic Jews or Christians, except what information we can gather from the Jewish historian Josephus, the Books of Maccabee and the Bible? Which provides us with only a combination of, man made Greco-Roman religious traditions and little or no historical facts?

However, I have attempted to address the issue of, the actual origins and history of Gnostic Judaism or Christianity from the patchwork of historical and somewhat mystical and religious documents. In addition to, secular history passed down to us, by the Jewish historian Josephus, the books of Maccabees I and II and other Greek and Roman historical sources. It should be, noted however.
